When I made this food in America for my in laws the first time, they called the name “stuffed peppers,” and I found there are different kinds of “stuffed peppers” in America. As you know, you use sweet peppers instead of hot peppers and you bake it in the oven, not fry in a pan. Of course, the taste is also different, but the idea of filling peppers with some ingredients and cook it is the same. I thought it’s very interesting. Anyway, I wanted to share Korean style stuffed peppers with you.

This is a Korean holiday food, and it is one of my favorite foods. I learned how to make this from my mom, and my mom used to make this for holidays or special days. The marinated beef, hot pepper, and egg combination gives you a very tasty and happy flavor. We usually use less spicy peppers for this recipe because you don’t want peppers that are so hot that they cover the flavors in the other ingredients. If you can’t eat spicy food then I recommend that you to use sweet peppers instead. So I used both peppers in this recipe. You can eat this dish just plain or as a side-dish.

There are many kinds of dishes that use seaweed in Korea. This is one of them. The ingredients for this dish are very simple and the way of making is very easy. Once you make this then you can keep it in the refrigerator and eat it anytime you want, with rice.
