You can make your own hot sauce with tomato, onion, hot chilli, garlic and salt. I think it would be tastier ;) To make the sauce first you have to cook the tomatoes with the chillies and a pinch of salt in boling water, when the tomatoes start to peel, put them in a blender together with the chillis, onion, garlic and a bit more of salt, add about a cup of the water you used to cook the tomatoes and the chillies. Be carefull, when you add hot water in a blender, it will spill out everywere and you may get burned. You can wait till the water gets a bit cold or you can put a towel covering the blender, so that if it spills you won't get burned ;) I know hundreds of ways of making delicious sauces, please, feel free to tell me if you're interested in one ;) Oh! by the way, about the quantities, with 5 tomatoes and 3-4 chillis you will get a really spicy sauce :D

hi Katharine in Brussels,
http://aeriskitchen.com/2010/08/korean-styled-twisted-donuts-%EA%BD%88%EB%B0%B0%EA%B8%B0-%EB%8F%84%EB%84%88%EC%B8%A0ggwabaegi-donuts/
you can see what kind of board I use for kneading from this recipe. I don't need any extra flour when i use it.
I looked the recipe again.. and it should be right.. 1 and half cups of flour.. half cup water... sorry for poor answer..

Hi Aeri--did you knead the dough on a very floured cutting board? I kneaded in the mixing bowl and it was very sticky, even after adding 3 tablespoons of flour over twenty minutes of kneading. Are those the correct measurements for the tortilla dough? :?:

You can use a clean, damp dishcloth instead of plastic wrap in keeping the dough moist. Thanks for the recipe!

can i come live with you?!? hehe

this looks really good! i am going to try to make the fresh tortillas since i always buy mine.

my kids like it when i make quesadilla. you take 2 tortiallas (taco shells). put one in a pan put taco cheese, grilled chicken, and green onions and put the other tortilla on top. cook both sides till the cheese is melted inside. when its done - slice and eat. i use taco sauce to dip. :) YUMMY!
