Yesterday, my lovely sister-in-law cooked an eggplant sandwich for us. I’ve been asking her to do a cooking video for me and since she was going to cook we went ahead and made a video. As she mentioned at the beginning, she didn’t have a recipe but tried to make something delicious from her instinct and experience. ;) It was so much fun to make a video together. Since the sandwich taste was very delicious, I am happy to share the recipe with you. If you want to see some of more her great posts, you can visit her blog, http://blossomhollow.com/

It is my hope too that someday soon a good Christian man will come into her life to date and eventually marry. ;)

Here is an another great recipe from my sister-in-law. It is one of my favorite foods, so I want to introduce this delicious salad.

I will post a link for you to my sister-in-law’s blog, blossomhollow.com. If you visit her blog, you can see not only the yummy bok choy salad, but also a surprise related to me. hehe… So please check it out! Thanks.

Pumpkin Cheesecake

The other day, my sweet sister-in-law baked this pumpkin cheesecake for my husband’s birthday as a surprise. :) He enjoyed it very much and even mentioned this pumpkin cheesecake is better than the one at the Cheesecake Factory. Thanks to his birthday, I got the chance to try a new delicious cheesecake too. Thank you, Tracy.

I highly recommend you try this recipe. I will post a link for you to my sister-in-law’s new blog, blossomhollow.com. Aha, she will post different kinds of design things, photos, and good recipes, so please check it out.;) Thanks. For the full recipe, click here.

Pumpkin Pie

Pumpkin season has arrived! This pumpkin pie recipe is one of my husband’s favorites. It has a great spice flavor.

As you noticed, we changed our blog theme recently. Some might miss the old theme but hopefully you will like this new change too. Also, I’m working on my blog to change the recipes to a nicer format. My son and I are good, I just feel tired more easily and have to go to bathroom very often. He plays a lot everyday. Please, keep pray for us. I will be back with a Korean recipe soon. hehe As always, thanks! Love, Aeri.

Short Korean Lesson: *^^*

  • HoBak (호박) = Pumpkin
  • MilGaRu (밀가루) = Flour

Blueberry Peach Pie

Wow, the weather is getting cooler, and it was a little chilly today. Maybe the Summer is gone already. I hope that everyone stays healthy and happy. Anyway, a hobby I started after marriage is collecting cookbooks. It is always great to get a good cookbook with delicious recipes and beautiful pictures. How many times, do I actually use those cookbooks? oops… I was too busy cooking Korean food for my videos and blog. hehe (my excuse) My husband and I look through a new cookbook together, and we mark recipes that we want to try later. Since it has been a while since I made dessert for my husband, I picked a recipe that uses fresh peaches that I got from the farmers’ market. This peach and blueberry pie was a big success. We both agreed it is a good pie recipe to share with people who visit my blog, even though it is not Korean food. Try this pie someday, and make your lover happy as I did.

Short Korean Lesson: *^^*

  • MilGaRu (밀가루) = Flour
  • SeolTang (설탕) = Sugar
