The other day, my sweet sister-in-law baked this pumpkin cheesecake for my husband’s birthday as a surprise.
He enjoyed it very much and even mentioned this pumpkin cheesecake is better than the one at the Cheesecake Factory. Thanks to his birthday, I got the chance to try a new delicious cheesecake too. Thank you, Tracy.
I highly recommend you try this recipe. I will post a link for you to my sister-in-law’s new blog, blossomhollow.com. Aha, she will post different kinds of design things, photos, and good recipes, so please check it out.;) Thanks. For the full recipe, click here.

Pumpkin season has arrived! This pumpkin pie recipe is one of my husband’s favorites. It has a great spice flavor. My son and I are good, I just feel tired more easily and have to go to the bathroom often. He plays a lot everyday. Please keep us in your prayers. I will be back with a Korean recipe soon. hehe As always, thanks! Love, Aeri.

Wow, the weather is getting cooler, and it was a little chilly today. Maybe the Summer is gone already. I hope that everyone stays healthy and happy. Anyway, a hobby I started after marriage is collecting cookbooks. It is always great to get a good cookbook with delicious recipes and beautiful pictures. How many times, do I actually use those cookbooks? oops… I was too busy cooking Korean food for my videos and blog. hehe (my excuse) My husband and I look through a new cookbook together, and we mark recipes that we want to try later. Since it has been a while since I made dessert for my husband, I picked a recipe that uses fresh peaches that I got from the farmers’ market. This peach and blueberry pie was a big success. We both agreed it is a good pie recipe to share with people who visit my blog, even though it is not Korean food. Try this pie someday, and make your lover happy as I did.

One day, I was looking for a simple dessert to make. I found this almond cookies recipe. I thought it’s pretty simple, so I didn’t expect much. Wow, it was big hit!!! It’s always good to find a good recipe by accident – like finding treasure in a cave. If you love to cook, you will understand what I’m saying… hehe … So I hope when you try a recipe from my blog, you can get that same feeling. haha … anyway … Since we enjoyed eating this cookies, I wanted to share it with you. My husband and in-laws liked them. My mother-in-law especially liked them. I hope you can try this someday.

Nowadays, I’m learning how to make American food and desserts. It’s fun to bake. Unfortunately, one weird thing about me is that I don’t like sweet things: ice-cream, candy, cake, pie, or cookies except fruit flavor candy. But I love cooking, baking, and eating. Good grief, if I liked to eat desserts, my belly will be 10 times bigger than now. hehe … Plus, my honey loves desserts, so I can enjoy baking desserts and he can enjoy eating them.
Anyway, I tried a cookie recipe from a baking book that I got recently. It is a 500+ page heavy duty book that got on sale for only 5 dollars. ASSA!!!
The recipe was called “Raspberry Sandwich Cookies.” Since I didn’t have any raspberry jam, I used homemade strawberry jam that my sister-in-law made instead. It worked pretty good. Maybe it was because of her yummy strawberry jam? hehe
My husband gave 4 stars out of 5 for this recipe. Here is the recipe for you, if you want…hehe
