    Hi Aeri,
I recently watched your “Intro to Korean” video and thought it was very informative. Before i possibly embark on learning korean i would like to know if the following source would be effective. Its called FSI Basic Korean (although it looks comprehensive.) The link is: Could you give me your own personal opinion about the source? I heard it uses romanization and is a bit outdated but it is still pretty effective. It comes with student text and audio. Anyway i hope it wont be a hassle to look through it:) Keep posting more recipes:) Thanks!

    Hi Aeri,

Whenver I goto E-mart, they have some sample foods kept like soybean curd pankcakes etc and they keep a dipping along with it. I asked them what it is made of and they said soy sauce, white sesame seeds, some green leaves whose name I dont know and other ingredients. It was a yummy liquid dipping. Can you please post the recipe for that dipping? And what is its name? I would like to make it for eating with the pancakes.
    Thanks!

    • Aeri Lee

      hi San,
aha.. we have different name for it depending on what it has in it.. but generally we call it “YangNyum GanJang (양념간장)” in Korean.. I will add it to my list.. thanks :D

Aeri, I made the cucumber kimchi last night. I used a regular cucumber because that is what we have in our garden. I thinkit is ok although I prefer to use a pickling cucumber next time. After letting this sit in a room temperature overnight, how many days should it sit in the refrigerator before we can eat it?

    • Aeri Lee

      hi Meia,
Cucumber kimchi.. you can eat just right after you made it.. ^^ thanks

  25. Meia
