Thank you for your Korean food site. I bought some salted seaweed stem yesterday and thought it was ready to eat. I guess I should be careful before I put any in my mouth. Oh dear it was salty. After reading your site, I boiled it for 45 minutes and made a seaweed salad and it was delicous.
I would like to know if you know the dish which is a tofu/seafood, stone bowl soup. I have tried it in a restaurant. How can I make it at home?

Hi Aeri: I watched this Korean TV drama “Terms of Endearment”. I saw they prepared / cut up a stuffed cuttlefish. Outside the cuttle fish looks like seasoned with light soy sauce. The stuffed cuttlefish is then slice into thin layers/round pcs. Wonder if you have the recipe.
Hi SALLY ONG,

Hey Aeri,
I am currently living in Spain and there is absolutely no korean food here. However, there is a chinese store that sells the ingredients I need to make certain types of korean food. Your recipes have helped me create the best korean food ive ever had and i was able to fulfill my need of korean food especially kimchi. i also can share with my friends here who have never had korean food! Thank you sooo much!
Hi Eunice,
Oh~~` I’m very happy to hear that you like my recipes. It’s interesting that you know about Korean food even you don’t have any Korean food over there. Thanks to you, your friend can try Korean food..that’s great.. hehe
Hello Aeri,
I just wanted to mention how happy I am to have found your website. My husband and I have taught English in Gwangju for 2 years and we now run a recruiting company that helps teachers find ESL Jobs all over Korea.
We both fell in love with Korea and the food and we’ve missed it tremendously since returning to Canada. Everything I’ve made based on your recipes has turned out fantastic and I’m excited to learn more.
Thank you for creating this website and sharing you recipes with everyone.
Congratulations on your baby!
Aggie (Baby in Korean – My students liked that a lot!)
Hi Aggie,
I’m happy to meet you too. wow you stayed in Gwangju ?? I’m from Gwangju. Yes, I don’t have that many recipes now..but I will post more in the future. ^^
haha..I agree, aggie is very cute Korean word.
I hope your business is successful. Hope to see you again~~
Hi Aeri,
Thanks for sharing your recipes. I made the chicken porridge and it turned out great. My husband, a non-Korean loved it as well. I lost mother to cancer early this year and lately, I have been trying to recreate some of her dishes. And of course I never wrote anything down and/or was not interested in learning when she was trying to teach me. But I am using your recipes as a base as I try to recreate my mom’s recipes. I do have a request, can you put a post for Galbi jhim? I didn’t see it.
Thanks again and congrats on your new born. I have three of my own 7, 4 and 8 mos.
Shirley
Hi Shirley,
Thanks for your comment. Oh.. so you are a Korean too.. ^^
I hope you can taste similar flavor with your mom’s delicious food from mine. Yes, I don’t have galbi jjim post yet, I will add it to my list.
wow.. you have 3 children.. I’m sure they will be all very lovely.
Hey Aeri: Here, i would like to say thanks, because i was learned a lot of Korean food on Youtube, especially Kim Chi soup. Si, i would like to learn Stone bowl rice. is possible cook at home? Thx
