Fried Kimchi Dumplings

Dumpling Soup

Before, I made kimchi dumplings and kept them in the freezer. Today, I’m going to make 2 kinds of dishes with the kimchi dumplings. One is fried dumplings and the other is dumpling soup. Enjoy!!!! ;)

Aeri,

Love your website, made dalkgalbi for the parents and they loved it. Quick question. Can you post a recipe for making kimchi mandoo from scratch?

Can I used ground chicken or will it change the flavor drastically? I am out of kimchi. Can I use some blanched napa cabbage instead?

    Hi, Zee
I’ve never used chicken for dumpling before.. so I can’t tell about the result with confidence.. Yes.. you can use napa cabbage instead..that’s what we use for normal dumplings in Korea … thanks..

Thanks for the video, you made it really easy to follow. Although I’ve enjoyed cutting the wraps from flours with rice bowls as a kid for my grandmother, I think getting the prepackaged wraps is less messy. Maybe we’ll make it on Sunday while watching 패밀리가 떴다.

Yeah a Korean who doesn’t know much about cooking Korean food. So I gotta depend on good folks like you. Thanks, gave this recipe a try a few days ago, and it came out great. We made some for soup and fried the rest.

Hi Aeri, would love to see instructions on how to make mandoo fillings. I still remember sitting around the table and helping my grandmother make it when I was a kid. That was really fun.
